Zero stoplights. One community.
And a whole lot of heart.
Our Town
Templeton, Iowa isn’t all that big.
You won’t find a mall or an airport. There’s front porches and church bells. A baseball diamond that’s been patched up more times than we can count. A one-room jail house full of history. And a water tower that keeps watch over it all.
Whether you're born here or just passing through, you'll feel it – that small town heartbeat, steady and strong.

Our People
Out here, neighbors know their neighbors.
The people of Templeton don’t go looking for attention. We show up, day after day. Raising barns, raising the next generation, and raising glasses when it’s time to celebrate.
What we all share is grit, generosity, and the belief that the best things in life, like good whiskey, take time.
This town is built on stories.
Take a look around.
“Coffee’s for patience. Whiskey’s for truth”
“Who needs a therapist when you’ve got a porch and neighbor with a steady pour”
A Whiskey making tradition, reborn.
Our distillery isn’t just the heart of Templeton Whiskey — it’s the heart of our town. Home to the next generation of Iowan whiskey makers, and enough barrels of the good stuff to fill over 6 million bottles.
Our Distillery
Whiskey, the Small Town Way
Back in Prohibition, our town made whiskey in secret, distilling behind barns and under floorboards. We may have traded in the pig sheds for a state-of-the-art distillery, but we still do things the small town way.

Whiskey helped build this town. Now we return the favor.
Templeton Whiskey has always been a community effort — from back in our bootleg days to today. That’s why we give back to the town that gave us everything.
From funding Community Center renovations and public projects, to helping make sure Templeton’s next generation has every reason to stick around, we don’t just make whiskey here. We show up for what matters.
